The Impact You’ll Make

The Lead Systems Administrator will be responsible for network infrastructure, security, and operations technology (OT) process guidance for the Tualatin Manufacturing plant.  The focus of this role is to provide effective OT solutions to maintain manufacturing production targets for the facility.  This position will manage the IT/Security of the Tualatin manufacturing environment (network services, computer systems, file storage services, IoT, Azure Cloud, etc.), and define, execute, and monitor overall delivery, reliability, and performance.  The successful candidate will collaborate and innovate with stakeholders and global team members to develop and implement secure technology solutions in support of the plant’s manufacturing efforts.  This position leads the manufacturing support team and aligns the day-to-day priorities.

What You’ll Do

• Model the Lam core values
• Liaison between business units and GIS worldwide teams.
• Own the GIS relationship with the manufacturing business units
• Ensures GIS-approved projects and directives in support of business requirements are implemented on time and on schedule, reports progress as required, and escalates to management when customer expectations cannot be met.
• Management/support of all computer & network equipment in the manufacturing/logistics infrastructure
• Develops, implements, and maintains a roadmap for all OT solutions in the Manufacturing Fabs, consistent with GIS policies and manufacturing business requirements
• Collaborate with global manufacturing OT peers by hosting sessions
• Provides 24x7 on-call troubleshooting and problem resolution.
• Act as a point of contact for IT services and escalations.
• Establish metrics and KPIs and drive to BLA
• Utilize approved procedures to ensure that hardware and software are deployed, implemented, and supported per business requirements and aligned to company standards/policies.
• Comply with Lam’s ITAM processes and procedures.
• Participate in GIS projects to test, pilot, and/or implement new hardware and software as necessary in support of Manufacturing Fab activity\requirements.
• Other duties and functions to be as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related area or equivalent work experience is required.
