The Programme attracts talented students or recent graduates to the Organization and provides them with:</span></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span><span>- A better understanding of the Organization’s goals and objectives and how international police cooperation is organized<br/> - An insight into how an international organization operates<br/> - A framework to enhance their educational experience through practical work assignments, thereby developing skills which are useful for their career and future employment<br/> - Experience of working in a multicultural, multidisciplinary and multi-ethnic environment, contributing to the development of mutual understanding, trust and tolerance</span></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span><span>All the relevant information about our Internship Programme may be found on our official web site.</span></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span><span>As of 1 January 2025, the internship allowance is EUR 700 and a transport subsidy of EUR 30 per month. An additional housing subsidy of EUR 170 per month will be provided to eligible interns.  </span></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span><span>Interns are required to be subscribed to a health insurance coverage for the entire duration of the internship. However, they are eligible to request enrolment in the Organization’s health insurance coverage at no additional cost. </span></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span><span>Candidates are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the <a href="https://www.interpol.int/fr/Ce-que-vous-pouvez-faire/Carrieres/Vacancies">conditions of internship and the requirements</a> prior to applying for this internship.</span></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span><span><b><span>INTRODUCTION</span></b></span></span></p> <p><span>The INTERPOL boutique is open to staff, family members, conference delegates and visitors to the General Secretariat. It offers a wide range of clothing and souvenirs personalized with the Organization’s logo. The Boutique is also responsible for coordinating gifts for staff to take on mission.<br/> <br/> Under the supervision of the Head of the Boutique, the selected candidate will:</span></p> <ul> <li><span>Contribute to the stock management of boutique and protocol items, updating the database and taking part in inventories;</span></li> <li><span>Assist in the daily activities of the boutique: customer service, sales, etc.</span></li> <li><span>Take part in the inventory and maintenance of the donations and gifts received by the Organization;</span></li> <li><span>Carry out any other duty assigned by the supervisor.</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span>Throughout this internship, the selected candidate will:</span></p> <ul> <li><span>Gain sales and stock management experience and skills in an international environment</span></li> <li><span>Knowledge and hands-on experience of the Enterprise Resource Planning Software SAP;</span></li> <li><span>Be exposed to a multicultural and multidisciplinary working environment.</span></li> </ul>   <p> </p> <p><span><span><b><span>REQUIREMENTS</span></b></span><br/> All candidates will be assessed on the basis of the under-mentioned requirements.</span></p> <ul> <li><span>Be a national of one of INTERPOL’s 196 member countries</span></li> <li><span>Have attained the legal age of majority in their country of nationality</span></li> <li><span>Adaptable to an international, multicultural and multilingual environment; good communication skills; and ability to work in a team.</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><b><span><span><span>TRAINING/EDUCATION</span></span></span></b></p> <ul> <li><span>Be enrolled in a, or have graduated from, a post-secondary accredited academic institution (with a relevant vocational diploma e.g. BTS or a Bachelor’s degree) within the past one year on the closing date of this call for interns, preferably in a field related to Sales, Marketing, Logistics, Business management and/or similar.</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><b><span><span><span>LANGUAGES</span></span></span></b></p> <ul> <li><span>Professional fluency in English and French is required.</span></li> </u
