Accounting Intern (Summer 2025)

Proskauer Rose is seeking an energetic and hardworking intern for our Finance Department. This position will support the Finance Team with day to day operations and projects.

• Preparing expense reclass journal entries to support firm budgets
• Reconciling bank and balance sheet accounts
• Organizing department process documentation
• Researching invoices for sales & use tax, and assisting with monthly filings
• Supporting the monthly accounting processes 
• Assist with ad hoc projects as needed

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent analytic and organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Willingness to work collaboratively as a member of a team with a positive attitude
• Ability to carry out certain tasks with minimal supervision after instruction has been provided
• High level of attention to detail and meticulous follow through
• Ability to ask questions when needed
• Any previous internship or work experience is a plus

This internship will run from June 2, 2025, through July 25, 2025.

This position will require physical presence in Proskauer’s offices on a regular basis (at least 3x per week, or more, if it becomes the policy of the Firm or as business needs require). The anticipated compensation for this position is $17.5 per hour. The actual salary offered will be based on a number of factors including but not limited to the qualifications of the applicant, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
