2025 Co-Op, Business Analyst Support

The Role

This is an internship opportunity in Norwood, MA from Jan 21, 2025 – June 20, 2025. Applicants must be available for the entire duration of the internship. Start date will be Jan 21, 2025.

The Development organization at Moderna is looking for top talent with business analytical skills to support the Strategic Partnership and Outsourcing team. The candidate will be tasked with assisting in vendor management, oversight and performance analytics across Moderna’s development ecosystem. The qualified candidate will take on responsibilities for supporting operational efficiency related to governance, vendor performance and contracting as well as administrative best practices. This position will work closely with business operations partners throughout Moderna and will liaise broadly with internal groups such as finance, outsourcing and contracts, procurement, as well as quality. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and analytical skills and is a dept in Microsoft office suit.

Here’s What You’ll Do

• Maintain Alliance Tool tracking including creating Smartsheet/Excel Tracking sheets.

• Support partnership tracking, forecasting, and reporting of key vendor performance metrics.

• Support internal performance analytics and reporting updates, internal alliance and outsourcing platform oversight, manage governance logistics and scheduling.

• Partner with teams across the Moderna ecosystem; finance, legal, procurement, outsourcing and contracts, business analytics and operations management, and quality, to maximize business performance, efficiency, collaboration, and harmony.

Here’s What You’ll Need (Minimum Qualifications)

• Current student enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters program

• Strong digital capabilities including Microsoft 365 Suite, Smartsheet, SharePoint

• Able to analyse and present complex information to internal and external audiences.

• Excellent verbal and written skills.

Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table (Preferred Qualifications)

• GPA of 3.5 on a 4 scale or equivalent

• Demonstrated ability to work both independently as well as the ability to contribute to high performing teams.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
