Job Description:
AFS is seeking an Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) for an onsite role in Columbia, MD, for a government customer/project, with the responsibility for leading and contributing to the implementation of security within a network. This ISSM will develop, implement, and maintain the project’s security-related documentation to support government acceptance activities and secure system deployment.
The Work:
- Maintain productive working relationships with security colleagues, government counterparts, and senior leadership to share information of interest and explain the specifics of security features and procedures
- Lead a team of professional staff and assess performance, collaborate and oversee goal setting, and provide feedback on personal development
- Perform threat and vulnerability assessment for information systems
- Recommend and implement changes to IT systems in accordance with applicable standards
- Address physical security matters to information assessments, security tests and evaluations, preparation of Contingency Plans, and administration of Life Cycle Management and Configuration Management documentation
- Support the development, and implementation of training and awareness products to ensure that systems, network, and data users are aware of, understand, and adhere to systems security policies and procedures
Here's what you need:
- DoDI 8570 IAM Level III/ IAT Level III Certification BS and 8-10 years of prior experience; Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- Demonstrated understanding of NIST SP 800-37, CNSSI 1253, FIPS 199 and NIST SP 800-53
- 3+ years experience with:
- Risk Management
- Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M) tracking
- Creating metrics
- Foreign Military Sales(FMS) Programs with a Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditation processes
- Ability to travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations
Bonus points if you have/are:
- Expert in creating presentations and presenting policies, guidance, and procedures regularity
- Vendor management experience
- Experience implementing a robust Security Event and Incident Management (SEIM) system
- Experience with the NSA’s Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSFC) program
- Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- Familiarity with Accenture Federal Services (AFS) security organization, programs, and processes
Security Clearance:
- Must have an active Secret clearance
Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York, or Washington State as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.
Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role:
California: $105,200 - $196,500
Colorado: $105,200 - $169,700
New York: $97,300 - $196,500
Washington: $112,100 - $180,700
