Coca-Cola Freestyle was introduced in 2010 as a disruptive innovation in the dispensed beverage segment and remains one of the most innovative areas at The Coca-Cola Company today. Our connected equipment transmits millions of rows of consumer consumption and operational data every day; and the Freestyle Data Science & Analytics Team is responsible for extracting value from that data to delight consumers, improve customer and business performance, engineer a more reliable fleet, and drive brand and flavor innovation for the Company. We also serve as data science thought leaders, SME’s, and enablers across Freestyle, our R&D division, and the Company as a whole. Our team is extremely agile and collaborative, with each of us bringing unique strengths to solve the most complex data challenges together while helping each other grow our individual skillsets in the process!

The Director, Data Enablement will play a key role on the Freestyle Data Science & Analytics team with responsibility for unifying and engaging the Freestyle network around our data products. They will consult with the System – including TCCC OUs, Bottlers, and Customers – to craft compelling and simple data stories that support the business as well as address new analytics requirements with a strong Commercial mindset.  

They will also partner closely with stakeholders to develop and lead scalable engagement programs for our data products; including communications, training, engagement, and support processes. As part of this work, they will develop routines and mechanisms to measure product success and drive future product development through stakeholder and user feedback.

The ideal candidate is highly consultative and analytical, an Olympian data storyteller with Commercial experience, and excited by the prospect of learning, simplifying, and codifying one of Coca-Cola’s largest and most complex data sources!

What You’ll Do For Us

  • Unify the Freestyle network around our standard data, metrics, and analytics approaches.
  • Quarterback and evaluate inbound requests for prioritization, building commercially compelling and simple data-centric stories to support the business.
  • Develop and lead a scalable engagement program across (PowerBI) data products; including launch and release plans, training programs / office hours, user engagement and support, and all other communications.
  • Drive data product innovation through user feedback mechanisms
  • Evangelize the value of ‘connected dispenser’ data across the Company and act as Freestyle data SME through engaging analyses, presentations, and networking.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 10+ years experience leading and delivering data products and programs
  • Olympian oral and written communication skills with a focus on Commercial data storytelling
  • Strong fundamental analytics knowledge (e.g., financial / business analysis)
  • Hands-on experience working with big data and building data visualizations, dashboards, and datasets using BI tools (PowerBI, Alteryx)
  • Great teammate with ability to work cross-functionally in resolving complex issues and take a new perspective on existing solutions
  • Curious data innovator with passion for experimenting and iterating with emerging approaches and ideas
  • Plusses:
    • CPG/FMCG, Beverage, or Food Service industry experience
    • AWS, Azure, or PowerPlatform experience

Pay Range:

$143,000 - $173,000

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
