Responsible for developing and/or engineering the end-to-end features of a system, from user experience to backend code. Use development skills to deliver innovative solutions that help our clients improve the services they provide. Leverage new technologies that can be applied to solve challenging business problems with a cloud first and agile mindset.
The work:
- Translate business needs into technical designs to support the full data lifecycle, including aligning current and anticipated future customer needs to the design decisions.
- Design, build, and maintain databases including evaluating considerations on hardware, software, and various architecture choices.
- Develop, execute, and apply quality control to database migration and integration projects.
- Evaluate reusability of current data for additional analyses and transform as necessary.
- Review storage schemas and system architectures to inform and implement better management and system performance.
Must Haves:
- 10 years of experience with programming and software development
- 5 years of experience componentizing large-scale production applications
- 5 years of experience architecting software solutions based on customer requirements
- 5 years of experience leading technical teams
- 3 years of experience designing and implementing automated build and deployment pipelines and supporting platform
- Experience troubleshooting and supporting enterprise applications with 10s of thousands of users while maintaining 24/7 availability
- Eight (8) years of relevant experience and have a BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related degree.
- AWS Developer - Associate and / or AWS Big Data certification Java, SQL, Python, services-oriented architecture
Eligibility Requirements:
- US Citizenship required with Active Top Secret Security Clearance
- Must be located in Huntsville, AL

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
