Job Description

The incumbent in this position will serve as an Investigator within the Dispute Resolution and Monitoring section of the Bureau of Exceptional Education and Student Services. This individual is expected to collaborate effectively with a team while also fulfilling individual assignments. This role represents an outstanding opportunity for candidates who demonstrate superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficient communication abilities.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Florida Department of Education (FDOE) has an open position that is responsible for executing the following functions:

 

State Performance Plan

  • Collaborates with other Bureau staff as a team leader/participant on State Performance Plan (SPP) indicator team(s)
  • Demonstrates a thorough understanding and knowledge of the indicator measurement, related data, improvement activities, and SPP/Annual Performance Report (APR) calendar
  • Participates in indicator team meetings
  • In the context of team activities, reviews indicator data to evaluate progress and slippage and design/evaluate improvement activities
  • Assists team leader in preparing the required sections of SPP/APR in accordance with the established calendar
  • As travel
