Position Summary
The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving referral growth, expanding market presence, developing strategic partnerships, and generating new business opportunities for ComForCare Home Care.
This role serves as a key ambassador for the organization, building relationships with healthcare professionals, community leaders, senior care providers, and payer organizations to increase referrals and support sustainable business growth.
Success in this role will be measured by relationship development, referral generation, market penetration, and achievement of growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve referral and revenue growth goals.
- Identify, cultivate, and manage high-value referral relationships with hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, physician practices, skilled nursing facilities, senior living communities, discharge planners, social workers, case managers, and community organizations.
- Create and maintain a robust pipeline of referral sources and business opportunities.
- Conduct regular in-person meetings, presentations, and outreach activities to increase brand awareness and generate referrals.
- Establish strategic partnerships that strengthen ComForCare's presence within the healthcare and senior services market.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and growth opportunities to support expansion initiatives.
- Collaborate with operational and clinical teams to ensure exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Track referral activity, business development efforts, conversion rates, and key performance metrics.
- Represent ComForCare at industry events, networking functions, healthcare forums, and community engagements.
- Support contract development and relationship management with payer organizations and community partners.
- Consistently achieve and exceed established growth, referral, and business development objectives.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of successful business development, healthcare sales, account management, or referral development experience.
- Demonstrated track record of generating referrals, building strategic partnerships, and achieving growth targets.
- Experience in home care, home health, hospice, healthcare services, senior living, or related industries strongly preferred.
- Exceptional networking, relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented professional who thrives in a performance-driven environment.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and pipeline management preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare
