Job Description:

This position, part of the Disbursement Services team within the Finance & Accounting division, ensures accounting policies and practices of the University of Florida related to accounts payable are followed. The incumbent identifies, evaluates, supports, and solves complex issues within the Check Distribution Area. This position must possess excellent analytical, research, problem-solving and communication skills, including a demonstrated ability to effectively maintain open  communication channels with all stakeholders. The incumbent will support enterprise- wide offices units as well as end users with complex issues. The incumbent will participate or lead special projects as assigned and evaluate information to identify opportunities or potential areas for improvements.

Expected Salary:

$46,000-$50,000

Minimum Requirements:

A bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and one year of appropriate experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

This position must be proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with University of Florida operations is preferred.

Ability to work and maintain effective working relationships with others; to understand, interpret, and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures; to effectively communicate in writing and orally; to complete work according to scheduled deadlines; to work with limited supervision; to utilize problem solving techniques and to work independently.
