Area Maintenance (90 Columbia Street)

Hours: Part-time (21 hours per week)

Work days: Monday, Wednesday, Friday

Day-time Shifts:

• 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Job Site Locations: 90 Columbia Street Brooklyn NY 11201

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Grass has to be cut if and when necessary
• Making sure the electric car charging stations are clean on a daily basis
• Making sure the bathrooms are clean on a daily basis
• Making sure the staircases are cleaned on a daily basis
• Making sure the windows sills are clean from dust on a daily basis
• Making sure the offices spaces are vacuumed and cleaned on a daily basis
• Making sure the kitchen area is cleaned on a daily basis
• Making sure break rooms are cleaned on a daily basis
• Making sure the fire extinguisher are cleaned from dust as needed
• Making sure the mechanic garage is cleaned as needed
• Mandatory Snow Removal and possible overtime

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have 1 year of recent janitorial experience
• Must have a working phone that is able to download three mobile apps used to complete the job
• Must be in good physical condition and health, without mental or physical disabilities or impairments which would reasonably be expected to interfere with the performance of the services or prevent you from being able to walk your assigned route
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions (rain, snow, sleet, heat, cold)
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be age 18 or over
• Must have some cleaning / debris clean up experience
