Job Summary

As a Product Management Intern, you will join the Horizon Product team at JLLT. The Horizon team is developing a platform that collects data from hundreds of different sources and uses machine learning to extract insights for our Capital Markets teams and enable them to make fast and optimal business decisions. 

This internship will provide an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to our product development efforts. The intern will primarily focus on Product Analytics, Product Operations, and Product Discovery.

Responsibilities:

Product Analytics:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and gather data on specific product features and their business impact.
• Analyze data using various tools (Pendo, Mixpanel, Fullstory) and methodologies to draw insights and make informed recommendations for product improvements.
• Present findings through reports and visualizations to stakeholders, including product managers, engineers, and executives.

Product Operations:

• Assist in the coordination and execution of product launches, ensuring smooth and timely releases.
• Develop training guides, including in-app guides, to support users in adopting new product features.
• Work closely with the Product Operations team to gather user feedback and iterate on training materials based on user needs and preferences.

Product Discovery:

• Gather both quantitative and qualitative product discovery information for specific features and initiatives.
• Conduct user interviews and surveys to understand user needs, pain points, and preferences.
• Synthesize and present the findings to product managers and developers to inform decision-making during the product discovery phase.

Dates: June 3, 2024 – August 9, 2024

Location: Houston | Onsite

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Real Estate, or a related field.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or other data visualization tools (Tableau, BigQuery, etc.)
• Knowledge of Product design, analytics collaboration tools such as Pendo, Miro, Figma, JIRA, etc.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, interpret, and draw actionable insights from data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a passion for learning.
• Familiarity with product management concepts and methodologies is a plus.
