Position Summary:

The Senior Manager, Transactional Operations is a strategic and hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing core operational functions including order processing, purchasing, scheduling, and revenue assurance. This position ensures accurate and efficient execution of transactional workflows that directly impact on time delivery, builder satisfaction, and financial outcomes. The ideal candidate is a people and process-driven leader with strong cross-functional coordination skills and a track record of driving accuracy, speed, and scalability in high-volume environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Oversight

  • Provide leadership and strategic direction to teams responsible for order entry, purchasing, job scheduling, and revenue recognition.
  • Establish standard operating procedures, clear goals, KPIs, and accountability for team performance aligned with business objectives and customer expectations.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and customer-focused service delivery.

Transactional Process Management

  • Ensure lead times and accurate processing of builder orders, job schedules, and material purchases.
  • Oversee purchasing workflows to ensure optimal inventory levels and material availability.
  • Coordinate scheduling operations to maximize labor efficiency, product availability, and on-time job completion.
  • Manage revenue assurance processes, including accuracy of revenue calculations, job profit validation and resolution of any PO or Price discrepancies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Sales, Field Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to ensure end-to-end alignment and service excellence.
  • Serve as a key liaison to builder partners for escalated operational issues or change in process.
  • Drive Vendor accountability by establishing clear expectations and having regular communication on performance.  Act as key liaison for escalated issues.
  • Collaborate with IT and systems teams to optimize ERP tools and data workflows for automation and accuracy.

Process Improvement & Compliance

  • Identify inefficiencies, gaps, and risks across transactional workflows and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures, builder contract terms, and internal audit/compliance standards.
  • Monitor data integrity and system accuracy for transaction records affecting lead times, schedule integrity, material availability, and revenue recognition.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in operations, order management, or transactional process leadership, preferably in construction or manufacturing industries.
  • Proven experience managing teams (in person and remote) across multiple functions.
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP and Builder Portals) and operational reporting tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage operational complexity in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and compliance.
  • Ability to drive results and change through influence, leadership, and collaboration.

Pay range: $100-$110K plus benefits
