We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Technical Sales Trainer with a strong background in the 3D printing industry. As a Technical Sales Trainer, you will play a pivotal role in equipping our sales team with the knowledge and skills required to excel in the rapidly evolving field of 3D printing.
Sales Training
- Develop and deliver comprehensive sales training programs that cover product knowledge, sales techniques, market trends, and competitor analysis specific to the 3D printing industry.
- Create engaging and effective training materials, including presentations, guides, videos, and interactive modules, tailored to various skill levels within the sales team.
- Organize practical, hands-on workshops and demonstrations to enhance sales representatives' technical understanding and proficiency with 3D printing equipment and software.
Product Knowledge
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of our 3D printing products, services, and technology advancements, ensuring accurate and current training content.
- Collaborate with product development teams and subject matter experts to ensure alignment between training content and product roadmaps.
- Stay informed about industry trends and adjust training programs accordingly to address emerging customer needs and market shifts.
Sales Support
- Offer ongoing support and mentorship to sales representatives, providing guidance on complex technical sales situations and customer interactions.
- Maintain comprehensive training records, including attendance, performance assessments, and feedback, to track individual and team progress.
- Implement methods to assess the effectiveness of training programs, track sales team performance, and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
Other
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Attend all required company training

Must have for this role:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience
- Knowledge of engineering or manufacturing processes is preferred
- 2+ years working with additive manufacturing (or similiar) technologie and processes.
- 5+ years of experience in an instructor role, conveying knowledge around technical products
- 2+ years of experience utilizing a learning management system platform
- 2+ years of experience developing online/digital/video course content
- Familiarity with, and/or capacity to learn new training delivery technologies
Nice to Have
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt training methodologies to suit different learning styles.
- Proven track record of driving sales team performance improvements.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools and training platforms.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for training sessions and industry events.
- Ability to work well with others.
Travel required: 30-50%
