Summary of Job Duties:

The Clinical Pharmacy Specialist for hematology/oncology works under minimal supervision. A Clinical Pharmacy Specialist provides to the department expertise not routinely available in the pharmacy staff. The abilities these individuals have may include a broad background in specific clinical areas (such as hematology/oncology and total parenteral nutrition), or the individual may have expertise in specific pharmacy management areas (such as information systems, drug utilization evaluation, or investigational drugs).

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD PLUS Licensed or eligible for licensure in Arkansas Graduate of an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy Graduate of an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy.

• Certification as a licensed Pharmacist by the State of Arkansas or eligible for licensure by the State of Arkansas.
