Trinity Life Sciences is looking for a talented, committed, and energetic individual to join our growing Data Strategy & Analytics team as an Analytics Senior Manager. This position will involve working in project teams alongside other consultants and data scientists. It will provide the opportunity to gain exposure to a wide variety of strategic business issues and acquire in-depth knowledge of the life sciences industry, ranging from small biotech to large pharma. This individual will gain exposure to many of the leading patient- level data sources in the industry as well as innovative technology and AI tools.
Essential Functions
- Own and design analysis plans and perform efficient, reusable analyses, quality control checks on administrative claims, EHR/EMR, lab, survey, and sales data using SQL/R/Python
- Effectively manage multiple projects from start to finish, working collaboratively with internal teams while requiring minimal oversight
- Communicate methods/ analytics approach and findings to internal teams and clients
- Support business development activities and proposal creation
- Support analytics product development activities by collaborating with product engineering team to perform UAT tests, quality control checks on developed features
- Connect client needs to analytical design, finding ways to use thoughtful methods to generate impactful findings that are not only accurate, but relevant to client business objectives
- Identify gaps in analysis plan and data limitations as project progresses, and communicate effectively with project leaders
- Engage in analysis plan gap discussion and brainstorm around Plan B solution
- Provider mentorship and guidance to junior team members, reviewing their work and supporting their development
Qualifications
Education: BS, MS or PhD in Public Health, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Biostatistics or Engineering
Work Experience: 6+ years direct work experience in a relevant field (life sciences consulting, CRO, biopharma and/or general consulting) conducting advanced analytics.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of hands-on coding experience using SQL, R, Python to query large databases. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is an asset.
- Experience with medical, prescription claims data and healthcare coding standards (e.g., ICD, CPT, HCPCS, NDC) required. Experience with EHR/EMR, lab, and survey data is preferred.
- Experience designing/implementing research or statistical analysis protocols in the healthcare domain.
Other Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word) with advanced Excel skills
- Desire and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently
- Good organization and time management abilities
- Strong problem solving and logical thinking
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to independently execute project workstreams and support junior staff
- Effective communication with non-technical stakeholders
