Microsoft has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer in the Sovereign Cloud Security Team. This team is responsible for deploying and operating services within an air gapped environment. Our group is responsible for providing organizations with the best security solution for their cloud environment, allowing for visibility, governance, and protection over their infrastructure, platforms, and application solutions. You will work closely with a distributed engineering team, product management, Customer Experience (CXP), and customers in addition to the central Azure organization leveraging the best platforms that Microsoft has to offer. Responsibilities

• Develop with partner teams new features and assist with automation and testing
• Build and improve services to be scalable and highly reliable
• Help deliver and improve engineering systems and practices to deliver services in complex cloud environments
• Investigate pre-production and production issues, implement, and deploy/develop fixes
• Participate in an on-call rotation (typically 24/7 for one week every 6-8 weeks) within a secure facility

Qualifications

• Required Qualifications:
  Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • OR equivalent experience. Experience with Cyber Security and/or a Cloud environment.
