Assistant Manager, Planning and Allocation

Role Overview
The candidate will be responsible for the management of the logistics (traffic/import/export) and allocation strategies as an integral part of the North American supply chain organization. This role will also support the planning and merchandising teams to deliver a robust allocation roadmap that connects with the merchandising and financial plan of each product category and distribution channel. As a distribution support role, accurate data integrity is required to maintain relevant needs of shipping and receiving products/goods from both Montblanc HQ as well as other external vendors.
Responsibilities (or Mission)
- Manage and execute allocation strategy for core and novelty collections
- Supports and monitors MRP & MDS parameters for inventory optimization
- Evaluate and monitor stock level at POS and E-commerce site at the SKU level and maintain healthy MOC across network
- Lead monthly inventory reconciliation process to ensure EOY targets are achieved
- Manage all procurement and purchase orders of sellable goods from HQ
- Provide distributional support with the local DC to ensure timely deliveries
- Build strong cross functional relationships
- Support manager on all inventory planning tasks (events, client requests, internal sales)
- Support planning team on ad hoc projects
Qualifications
- 1-2 year of experience in supply chain, planning or allocation role
- Experience in luxury would be a plus
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to details
- Knowledge in ERP system (ie: SAP, AS400, Anaplan…)

Salary range: $80,000 - $85,000/yearly
