Akamai Technologies, Inc. is hiring for the following role in Cambridge, MA (multiple openings): Security Architect II. Integrate and maintain Akamai security, media, and performance network solutions for Akamai customers. Turn compliance guidelines into business requirements, tech specs, and frameworks for use by internal teams and external assessors. Develop familiarity with Akamai web-scale systems and guide company efficiently to meet security obligations. Help customers achieve their network security objectives and fine-tune controls to ensure optimal protection levels are achieved. Patriciate in technical aspects of integration and supporting steps to go live, identifying and mitigating risks. Apply knowledge of the internet and its networks and protocols (IP, DNS and routing, HTTP, TCP or web architecture), DevOps, web development, web performance, and information security technologies. Required Qualification:

Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Telecommunications and Network Engineering, or Telecommunications Systems Management, plus six (6) months of experience in the job offered or closely related technical role. Any amount of experience with the following: Sailpoint; Active Directory; Bash scripting; IT security policies; and technical troubleshooting.

Compensation:

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary for this position ranges from $91600 - $190400; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location.

The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
