About the role

As the Associate Graphic Designer (SMU), you will embark on creative journey into creating global on-trend graphics for our Direct to Consumer Department. In this role, you will particapte in creating graphics that visually capture  consumers, story tell and are brand driven that align with our vision and values.

How You Will Make a Difference

What you will do:

  • You will work with your direct manager to gain consumer knowledge to help guide your designs for all printable apparel categories.
  • Responsible for maintain techpack design templates and product cad detail pages.
  • Help cureate a working document of design assets for SMU design team.
  • Collaborate with product development to expand your knowledge in print execution.

How you will do it:

  • Collaborate and ideate through rough sketches and concepts.
  • Study graphic trends and print applications.
  • Particapate in market research and analysis of our competitors to better understand trends.
  • Demonstrate strong teamwork skills through collaboration with cross-functional team members.
  • Establish a creative relationship within the design department to share ideas and learn all aspects.
  • Ablility to multi-task in a fast-paced environment around tight timelines.
  • Adhere to all calendar dates and deadlines.

  • Function with a highly collaborative mindset, and ability to work closely with cross-functional partners to create best in class product.

Skills for Success

Years of Related Professional Experience: 4+ years

Educational Position Requirements:

A formal education and subsequent undergraduate/graduate degrees are nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.

What we expect you already know: 

  • Proficient in computer design programs, (e.g., Illustrator, Photoshop,Procreate)
  • Knowledge print / manufacturing techniques and creating techpacks.
  • Ability to work within a team dynamic, maintaining organization of work priorities across multiple projects.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with other design departments
