A Day in the Life
Bring your electrophysiology expertise to Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) and help improve outcomes for people living with complex cardiac arrhythmias. As a Customer Experience Advisor, you will serve as a clinical and technical expert for cardiac mapping systems and advanced EP procedures—including ventricular tachycardia (VT) ablation workflows—translating real-world procedural insights into product, workflow, and training improvements that elevate the physician and patient experience.This is a highly visible field role, with regular domestic and international travel (50-75%).
Responsibilities may include the following (and other duties may be assigned):
Provide advanced electrophysiology expertise to support physician engagements, procedural troubleshooting, and product launch activities.
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders across R&D, Clinical, Quality, Marketing, and Commercial teams to ensure physician insights are incorporated into product development and commercialization strategies.
Translate real-world procedural observations into actionable recommendations for workflow optimization, product enhancements, and training strategy improvements.
Support investigation of complex procedural challenges, including product complaints or adverse events, by reviewing procedural data, identifying missing information, and collaborating with field teams and Quality partners.
Support simulated and real-world evaluation of technologies and procedural workflows through lab evaluations, simulated procedures, and clinical case observations.
Serve as a trusted advisor to physicians, EP lab staff, and internal Medtronic partners regarding mapping workflows, procedural optimization, and technology utilization.
Travel approximately 50% to support physician engagements, evaluations, and training activities.
Minimum qualifications
High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 11+ years of relevant experience in a clinical lab setting, clinical training, field sales/support in medical device, healthcare industry, or equivalent experience
OR
Associate’s Degree with 9+ years of relevant experience
OR
Bachelor’s Degree with 7+ years of relevant experience
Nice to have
Previous clinical experience with Affera ablation catheters & mapping navigation system.
