Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (Audit partner support)

As a Manager in Enterprise Finance Analytics, you will lead financial planning and analysis for our internal Audit organization.  Responsibilities will include helping Audit leaders to conduct long-term financial planning, manage annual budgets, conduct in-year problem solving and provide additional analytical support.

The ideal candidate will provide financial leadership and have strong problem-solving, influence and partner relationships competencies to effectively:

• Partner with leadership and business teams to assess the financial implications of ongoing efforts across the organization

• Articulate outcomes of analysis and relevant insights

• Develop presentations to communicate business and analysis results to senior leadership audiences

• Effectively manage deliverables under both open-ended and tight timelines

Responsibilities:

• Financial and business performance reporting and variance analysis

• Financial forecasting and analytics to support partner objectives and strategic initiatives

• Identify and enable continuous improvements across the team to drive efficiencies

• Indirectly manage and develop associates

Basic Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience 

• At least 5 years of experience in financial analysis and modeling

• At least 2 years of experience managing a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience in Google Sheets & Slides

• 3+ years of experience managing a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function

• 2+ years of people management experience

• 1+ year of experience managing indirect or direct reports 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

McLean, VA: $146,100 - $166,700 for Manager, Financial Analysis

 

Richmond, VA: $132,800 - $151,600 for Manager, Financial Analysis

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
