Position Description:

The University of Louisville seeks a collaborative and visionary leader to serve as its next Senior Director of the Student Financial Aid Office. Reporting to the Vice Provost of Strategic Enrollment Management and Student Success, the Senior Director of the Student Financial Aid Office is a member of the division’s senior leadership team. This role works collaboratively to shape and implement effective financial aid enrollment and retention strategies aligned with UofL’s goals of increasing student access, retention, and graduation while adhering to all federal and state regulations.

About the Role:

The Senior Director will provide strategic leadership and operational management to ensure the efficient, compliant, and effective administration of all financial aid programs and is responsible for:

  • Leadership and management of operations and personnel,

  • Establish a team environment built on collaboration, communication, transparency, and trust that fosters professional growth and development,

  • Oversight of federal, state, and institutional aid budget of $350 Million,

  • Manage funds in accordance with federal, state, and institutional regulations,

  • Ensure accurate reporting and auditing practices,

  • Cultivate a student-centered approach with a commitment to exceptional customer service to students and families.

Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
