We are seeking a highly skilled Platform Solution Architect to join our Artificial Intelligence and Data (AI&D) group. The platform architect will lead design and implementation of integration platform and solutions, with good knowledge on various deployment options and development using MuleSoft and microservices architecture hosted on the AWS ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of integration patterns, cloud-native architecture and API management, with a strong focus on creating scalable, reliable, and secure solutions. The role will include a key focus on incorporating AI/ML capabilities into the platform to support advanced analytics and intelligent automation. This role requires ability to consistently communicate across multiple channels (Teams, emails, meetings, conversations), proactively identifying blockers and escalating as needed, organizational skills to support the team in maximizing its performance and ensuring successful delivery of projects. 

 

Responsibilities 

Solution Design and Architecture 

  • Design and architect integration solutions using MuleSoft, ensuring they align with enterprise standards and best practices. 

  • Develop and implement microservices architecture on AWS, focusing on scalability, reliability, and security. 

  • Define and maintain architectural guidelines, patterns, and frameworks for API development and integration.  

  • Design and architect cloud-native platforms that leverage AI/ML capabilities for enhanced performance and decision-making 

  • Administration of Integration platform  

 

Development 

  • Lead the design and development of RESTful APIs using MuleSoft, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and secure. 

  • Establish API governance policies and standards, including versioning, security, and lifecycle management. 

  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure APIs are implemented according to design and meet business requirements. 

  • Integrate AI/ML models into microservices architectures, enabling real-time data processing, predictive analytics, and automation. 

 

Cloud Integration 

  • Architect and deploy cloud-native solutions using a range of AWS services, including but not limited to Amazon Managed Streaming for Apache Kafka (MSK), Amazon S3, Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), and Amazon RDS.  

  • Ensure seamless integration between on-premises systems and cloud environments, leveraging MuleSoft’s hybrid integration capabilities. 

  • Optimize AWS infrastructure for performance, cost, and scalability in the context of microservices and APIs. 

 

Technical Leadership 

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring best practices in MuleSoft, AWS, and microservices are followed. 

  • Conduct architectural reviews and code reviews to ensure solutions meet architectural and quality standards. 

  • Mentor and coach team members on integration architecture, cloud technologies, and API development. 

 

Stakeholder Engagement 

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand integration needs, gather requirements, and translate them into technical solutions. 

  • Engage with cross-functional teams, including developers, DevOps, security, and operations, to ensure successful delivery of integration projects. 

 

Continuous Improvement 

  • Stay current with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in API managemen
