Senior Data Scientist, Pricing Models

We’re looking for an exceptional Data Scientist to join the pricing team for our real-time bidder team, one of the most exciting and important products within Chartboost. The system powering this product must deal with 100,000’s of requests per second and presents unique data science challenges. The bidder uses a variety of batch and real-time signals to power decision making in real-time.

Impact you will make: 

• Apply, develop, optimize, and benchmark ML approaches to push our AI-driven product forward
• Conduct large scale A/B testing and offline/online experiments to evaluate performance of machine learning models
• Analyze millions of structured and unstructured data points and identify meaningful signals to improve model performance
• Collaborate closely with Product, Data, and Engineering teams to launch new pricing and conversion ML models

Who you are:

• BS degree in Statistics, Math, Machine Learning or Computer Science
• 5+ years of practical experience in data science or machine learning roles
• Experience using SQL and distributed frameworks such as Spark for exploratory data analysis and data transformation 
• Demonstrated experience with Python for ML workflows
• Exposure to different machine learning and modeling techniques, including deep learning and traditional modeling techniques
• Experience in improving performance of queries and workflows for model training

The following experience would be a plus:

• Hands-on with deep learning in production pipelines
• Ad tech and/or mobile space

This is a fully remote role that may be based anywhere in the United States.

The pay range for this position in California at the start of employment is expected to be between $125,000 and $218,000 per year.  For applicants based in Colorado at the start of employment is expected to be between $85,000 and $183,000 per year. For applicants based in New York City and New Jersey at the start of employment is expected to be between $120,000 and $205,000 per year. 

However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
