Are you ready to design, optimize, and safeguard our network to ensure seamless connectivity and security? Join our team as a Network Engineer and embark on a journey where your expertise shapes the backbone of our digital infrastructure! In this role you will support the data communications infrastructure and connectivity requirements of the company’s employees, agents, customers, and external business partners. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support the local area network (LAN), the wireless local area network (WLAN), the metro area network (MAN), the wide area network (WAN), the virtual private network (VPN), and more by designing, installing, and maintaining the hardware, software, and configuration. 

 

What You’ll Do

 

•    Perform basic support on LAN, WLAN, VPN, MAN, ISP, DCN, WAN, load balancer, and web application firewall issues
•    Coordinate and lead MACO efforts
•    Maintain backups of all configurations, not only the configuration of a given device, but also the software revision as well
•    Manage all aspects of external domain name system (DNS) services
•    Manage and monitor quality of service (QoS) implementations
•    Provide assistance with disaster recovery efforts
•    Develop and maintain current network documentation
•    Perform basic support on video conferencing issues

 

What You’ll Need

 

•    Eight or more years of networking support experience with a Cisco Certified Network  Associate (CCNA) or equivalent, or five or more years of network support experience with a Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification or equivalent
•    Demonstrated knowledge of Ethernet
•    Proficiency in Layer 407 configurations within the analog-to-digital (ADC) environment
•    Demonstrated knowledge of Layer 2 switching and Layer 3 routing

 

 

 

Salary for this position can range from $91221.00 for candidates who are minimally qualified through $110,000.00 for more highly qualified candidates. Candidates outside of the range are encouraged to apply, and will be considered based on experience, skill and education.
