Job Details:

SUMMARY: Responsible for deboning front half of the whole bird.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES:

· De-bone front half from whole bird

o Remove breast & tenders

· Remove product from whole bird such as wings, skin, & bruises

· Keep the area clean

· Other duties as assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

· Ability to work independently

· Ability to rotate job functions

· Ability to safely use a knife

· Ability to maintain a yield goal of 58% or higher

· Ability to wear, use and maintain personal protective equipment

· Ability to follow all safety policies and procedures

 

Physical Requirements / Environment:

· Stand: Continuously (8 or more hours)

· Grasp: Continuously (handling knife)

· Pull/Push: Frequently

· Lift/Carry: Frequently (whole birds; up to 10 lbs.)

Occasionally (up to 30-50 lbs.)

· Bend/Stoop/Squat: Occasionally

· Physical Environment: Continuously: Working around moving machinery, working in a damp, slippery and cold environment (Below 40° F)
