Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Software Engineer to join our team in the Aberdeen, MD area. This is an onsite position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Must provide the essential software support for laptops, desktops, system storage, and servers including the configuration of the hardware devices, testing new software, and designing the structure of the network.

• Must be capable of monitoring and developing the system configuration within a mixed release Windows environment, Linux environment, and containerized environment utilizing puppet, ansible, Kubernetes, and other tools.

• Must be capable of reviewing logs and output for server errors, Java errors, Ruby errors, and Python errors.

• Must be proficient in reviewing, modifying, and creating within PowerShell scripting, bash scripting, and shell scripting.

• Must have experience using Docker/Podman or another containerization platform.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science or other technical discipline. 4 additional years of experience may be substituted for the degree.

• 5 years of relevant experience as a Software Integrator within the last 8 years

Security Clearance Requirements:

• Active Secret

• Must be able to obtain a TS/SCI

Physical Requirements:

• The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.

The projected compensation range for this position is $84,900-$141,100. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
