Construction Inspector I or II - Collin Co Area Office

TxDOT's Collin County Area Office in Dallas District is seeking a Construction Inspector to join us in the inspection and oversight of essential projects in the North - Central region. Depending on skill level, this employee will perform all facets of bridge inspection, roadway inspection, environmental compliance, and materials inspection. Employee will serve as Inspector on a range of small-scale to large-scale projects. Duties include fieldwork. Employee may be required to work late or night shifts per the Area office needs. This position will be in our Collin County Area Office and will help support the inspection of our existing infrastructure and new upcoming construction projects. Salary Range for Each Position Level:

This position is for a Construction Inspector I or II.  The Texas Department of Transportation reserves the sole right in determining the level of position based on the applicant's work experience, education, skill level, and all other appropriate factors, and based on business needs.
