Compensation Overview

The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

$106,300.00 - $175,400.00

What Is the Opportunity?

Plans at an operational level and manages the effective use of resources to transform business-specifications into cost-effective IT Security solutions. Implements and/or maintains a medium system or multiple smaller systems and/or assigned project(s). Investigates, identifies, and resolves Cybersecurity events/breaches independently. Responsibilities are assigned with some latitude for setting priorities and decision-making using established policies and procedures.

Job Description Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented data specialist to join our Data Security team to focus on securing and optimizing the handling of data in test environments. 

The primary focus of this role is to design and implement a robust test data management strategy that ensures data privacy and security throughout the testing lifecycle. 

This person will assess current practices, identify risks and drive the adoption of secure and effective methodologies for testing and protecting sensitive data.   This role requires a strong understanding of test environment workflows, TDM tools, data protection techniques and the ability to influence change across teams. This person is a proactive self-starter who takes initiative to drive work forward, with strong analytical and communication skills.

What Will You Do

  • Assess current data usage practices in test environments to identify vulnerabilities and compliance gaps.
  • Collaborate with partnering organizations to understand test data requirements.
  • Develop and implement an innovative solution to ensure data security, compliance and efficiency in the testing lifecycle.
  • Lead efforts to minimize reliance on production data in testing, while promoting secure and efficient workflows, particularly in AI/LLM environments.
  • Enforce policies & standards for data protection, including masking, anonymization or encryption.
  • Establish protocols for synthetic data generation and usage where applicable.
  • Educate stakeholders on secure data practices, acting as an SME.
  • Develop training programs for stakeholders on secure test data handling practices.
  • Drive organizational change by influencing adoption of secure testing practices.  
  • Experience with Dev-Sec-Ops principles. 
  • Engage challenges thoughtfully, prioritizing understanding.

What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline preferred.
  • Seven years of relevant experience with Cybersecurity practices, processes, and Cybersecurity event investigation/resolution preferred.
  • Broad knowledge of all IT related technologies with subject matter expertise in IT Security related technology and business exposures impacting organizational vitality preferred.

  • Demonstrates sound analytic and diagnostic skills dealing with issues that are loosely defined and/or conflict with available information.
  • Knows where to obtain information needed to make the appropriate decisions.
  • Breaks a problem down to manageable pieces and implements effective, timely solutions. Is very good at identifying the problem versus the symptom.
  • Deals increasingly with problems that require involvement of others to solve.
  • Has the ability to reach sound decisions quickly.
  • Carefully evaluates alternative risks and solutions before taking action. Optimizes the use of all available resources.
