Classification: Salaried Exempt
Reports to: Sr. Operations Manager or Operations Supervisor (TBD)
Summary / Primary Role:
The position of Warehouse Supervisor will have primary responsibility to supervise and lead team members through the daily activities in the warehouse to ensure smooth operations and efficient completion of projects.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise warehouse staff and daily activities.
• Manage, evaluate, and report on warehouse productivity.
• Track and coordinate the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials.
• Order supplies and maintain suitable inventory levels.
• Check orders, bills, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy.
• Maintain records, report relevant information, and prepare any necessary documentation.
• Ensure basic maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Communicate company goals, safety practices, and deadlines to team.
• Motivate team members and assess performance.
• Provide help to management, including assistance with hiring and training, and keep management updated on team performance.
• Perform a daily inspection of the warehouse grounds.
• Coordinate and maintain fleets and equipment.
• Communicate and coordinate with other departments and customers.
• Adjust start/finish times according to workload. Assigning more/less dock personnel to certain assignments.
• Building loads according to the freight (Weight/Dims). Assigning specific container sizes depending on cube.
• Cross training, new hire training, ongoing training for assignments.
• Conduct safety meetings. Enforce safety on the floor.
• ALL OTHER DUTIES AND PROJECTS AS ASSIGNED.
Qualifications and Key Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of two years of warehouse experience is required.
• Previous experience as a warehouse supervisor or similar lead position is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.
• Proficient with data entry and inventory software and systems.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to provide leadership, support, and guidance to warehouse team members.
• Ability to delegate tasks to individual team members.
• Ability to solve conflicts among coworkers.
• Effectively communicates with customers and coworkers by providing accurate, courteous, and timely responses to questions or concerns.
