Quality Systems Administrator

The Quality Systems Administrator collaborates directly with management to ensure high product quality through the planning, administration, and support of ISO and ITAR requirements and the Vanguard Quality System.

What you’ll do:
- Act as liaison for ISO registrar and manage FDA, ITAR, and other regulatory compliance requirements
- Manage the quality systems manual and contents to ensure ISO and other requirement compliance
- Manage and provide training on CAR process and ensure timely and closed-loop CAR’s.
- Manage and provide training in quality system audits, QDO, Quality Alert, Stop Order, CAPA systems
- Investigate and analyze quality problems
- Provide exceptional product and customer service to all internal and external customers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
What you’ll need:
- Intermediate proficiency in computer systems, including MS Office, data entry, and graphic applications.
- Algebra and geometry (shop math) skills; high-level critical thinking, analysis, and organization.
- Demonstrated self-motivation, problem solving abilities, team spirit and a “hands on” mentality.
- Strong understanding of sampling plans, attention to detail, flexibility, and service-oriented attitude
- Ability to initiate process improvements, and apply Lean concepts.
- Ability to interface and comfortably work with all functional areas affected by the Quality System.
- Positive, professional communicate in person, over the phone, email, internet or in writing
- Normal color vision
Education and/or Experience
- High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent
- 5-years’ experience supporting Quality Management Systems documentation and process requirements.
- Experience and working knowledge of production and support processes required.
- Must have ISO9001 Internal Auditing Certification or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2- or 4-year Technical or Business degree
- Experience in ISO9001, ISO13485, and/or AS9100.
- 5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment or as a Quality Administrator or higher in a small- to mid-sized electronics manufacturing company.
