Lead Maintenance Technician

Starting Pay Range: $26 - $28/hr  Third Shift

 

 

Responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs of fuel dispensing equipment, fuel storage tanks and fuel dispensing software SavOn and Maple Leaf Market chain of convenience stores and marinas.

What you will do as a Lead Maintenance Technician   

• Effectively provide leadership and mentoring for Maintenance Technicians for facility related mechanical and electrical equipment and general maintenance for nation-owned facilities.
• Efficiently schedule and coordinate the assignments of all the Maintenance Technicians on their shift.
• Answer and direct calls to the appropriate Maintenance Technician. Accurately records the information into log and follows up to ensure quality guest service and that a professional job has been done.
• Coordinate supply orders and materials needed to make necessary repairs. Ensures parts inventory taken from the Facilities warehouse is accurately documented; reports all items taken to Maintenance Manager on a daily basis

 

Key attributes we're seeking as a Lead Maintenance Technician are:

• At least three years’ experience in supervisory/leadership position related to building maintenance.
• Robust background with hands-on knowledge of plumbing, air handling, refrigeration, minor electronics, electricity, carpentry, boiler equipment, welding, brazing and soldering required.
• A valid New York State Driver’s license.
