Job Description

This position will be responsible for day-to-day data operations, identification of data issues and act in a critical role for master data. The Analyst I will learn the data intricacies within various business processes along with the data requirements and integrity across multiple system solutions.  The Analyst I will also assist the commission admin group with day-to-day tasks and basic system maintenance functions.

Job Duties

  • Creates thorough documentation for all master data fields within relevant systems.
  • Manages processes that will allow master data to be updated consistently and accurately, which will include gaining appropriate approvals.
  • Communicates with all interested parties when master data is changed.
  • Provides master data support for projects, ongoing efficiency improvements and business processes.  
  • Reviews master data to check for accuracy and raise any data problems or issues to higher level analysts or management who will review and provide guidance.  
  • Runs monthly incentive compensation processes including manual sales and commission adjustments order/commission splits, transfers of sales/commissions and bonus entries. 
  • Finalizes monthly incentive compensation payable for the Manager of Incentive Compensation to approve and submit to payroll for processing in accordance with payroll deadlines. 
  • Provides solutions to management on process improvement and/or compensation related disputes.
  • Acts as Help Desk personnel working with various members of the sales organization to research issues and discrepancies associated with commission/bonus payouts, sales reporting, alignments, compensation plans, etc. 
  • Processes ad-hoc data requests.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

Required:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Finance, Business, Supply Chain or IT is required.
  • Minimum 1 to 3 years of data-related maintenance or sales compensation admin preferred.

 

Preferred:

  • Ability to work independently, with direct supervision, on day-to-day tasks, prioritization of work and simultaneous deliverables.  
  • Know when to escalate urgent or complex issues, seek guidance and communicate with others.
  • Good computer skills including MS Access, MS Excel and Power Point is preferred.
  • Ability to work in team environment.
  • Detail oriented with basic analytical and organizational skills.
  • Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is preferred but not required.
