Job Description:

As a Brand-Category Financial Analysis professional at Band 3, you will be responsible for conducting financial analysis and providing strategic insights for brand-category performance. You will play a key role in driving business growth, optimizing financial performance, and supporting decision-making within the organization. Your role will involve analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and providing recommendations to enhance profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage large projects, including conducting financial analysis to evaluate brand-category performance like sales, profitability, and expenses.
  • Utilize advanced analytics and data-driven insights to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Coach and develop others to continuously improve financial processes, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies for business growth and profitability improvement.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making at both tactical and strategic levels.
  • Develop financial models and forecasts to assess the impact of various scenarios on brand-category performance.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Job Qualifications

  • Strong experience in financial analysis within the consumer goods industry or related field.
  • Proficient in financial modeling, data analysis, and advanced Excel skills.
  • Solid understanding of key financial concepts such as P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, and ROI analysis.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence decision-making.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in financial analysis.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (advanced degree or professional certification is a plus).
