Xylem is looking for a Field Service Technician to report to our Plant City, FL location and service our on-site equipment.

What your day will look like as a Field Service Technician

The Field Service Technician will be responsible for the installation, service, and maintenance of our water purification equipment. Equipment specific training will be provided. Willing to train the right person, but previous technical/mechanical/plumbing experience is especially encouraged.

This position operates on a swing shift either 7AM-7PM or 7PM-7AM either Thursday-Saturday and every other Wednesday, or Sunday-Tuesday and every other Wednesday, with overtime opportunities and a compensated on-call rotation with occasional afternoons/weekends.

Position Requirements for Field Service Technicians  

• HS diploma or equivalent

• One year of work experience preferred

• 0-2 years technical experience preferred- industrial or commercial process water experience a plus

• Experience with Microsoft office, including the ability to utilize smart devices

• Ability to work in a high customer facing position

• Ability to identify and remedy potential safety concerns

• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
