Night shift: Tuesday through Friday from 11pm-7:30am AND
Monday morning from 8:00am-12:00pm.
Pay Range:
$24.10 - $36.15Must be able to interpret oral and written communication (Spanish to English/English to Spanish) in a healthcare environment and work night shift.
The Healthcare Interpreter ensures equal access for all by serving as the linguistic and cultural intermediary of the healthcare encounter. The interpreter also serves as a cultural broker, clarifier, and advocate to ensure positive clinical outcomes.
Education, Experience and Certifications
High school diploma required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
1-year related experience required.
Knowledge of medical terminology and prior experience in a healthcare setting is required.
National medical interpreter certification preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge of oral/written language pair competency by successful completed an Interpreter Language Assessment required.
