Position Summary:
Royal Caribbean is looking for a senior analyst to join its Infrastructure Investment team, within the Destination Development Group. The Destination Development Group seeks strategic destination and infrastructure JV investments around the globe that serve Royal Caribbean Group’s growing fleet of ships and markets, improve guest satisfaction, and generate long-term returns. This position works closely with the Business Owners of the Destination Development team as support for financial analysis to help move projects forward and manage internal financial reporting and protocols.
This position analyzes financial plans and operating forecasts as well as reviews financial reports for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with procedures and regulations. The senior analyst will be responsible for managing the teams expense activity and approvals. Additionally, the senior analyst will present to leadership updates on financial activity and forecasts for the Destination Development Group.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Financial Analysis
- Support the Destination Development team in updating actuals and forecasting the portfolio of JV investment financials and conducting ad hoc analyses as needed for portfolio investments. This may include managing the liquidity needs of each project and communicating recommendations based on investment circumstances, managing the port berthing agreements and minimum guarantees, and finding ways to optimize financials given specific JV needs.
- Liaison for Internal Financial Communication and Approvals
- Serve as a key contact for the Destination Development group with the Capital, Internal and External Financial Reporting, Corporate Finance, Technical Accounting Group, Cash Management Office, and Grand Finance groups. Works efficiently with both internal and external departments to manage approvals, submit required SOX compliance and financial reports, and oversees accurate accounting of all JV investments and transactions.
- Budget Management
- Manage the Destination Development team’s budget by optimizing group spend, maintaining the expense tracker, and updating the group’s forecast accordingly.
- Transaction & Invoice Processing
- Manage vendors and relevant transactions for the Destination Development group. This includes reviewing contracts and terms with partners and vendors to assess the financial impact as well as ensuring all transactions are accurately paid and reflected in the systems.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or a quantitative discipline, and 2-4 years of experience in a financial role. <
