Senior IT Support Engineer (In-house / Hybrid working model)

ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, a well-known audiovisual production company is seeking for a Senior IT Support Engineer. 

Workplace location: Attica, Southwest suburbs (Hybrid working model) 

What you will be doing: 

As a Senior IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for the performance and availability of all company platforms, networks and resources to ensure the delivery of all services in an efficient, timely manner.   

More specifically you will:  

• Ensure daily the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the company’s Infrastructure and Applications (EpsilonNet ERP, CRM, Custom Applications, Email, Microsoft technologies) 
• Perform monitoring and troubleshooting tasks and take appropriate actions to resolve any issues 
• Perform installation and configuration of new software and hardware, including server network, devices and firewalls 
• Perform user access management and provide permissions in accordance with company policy 
• Evaluate Disaster Recovery plan and perform regular reviews and tests 
• Provide User and Technical Support in all aspects of the daily operations 
• Propose, Design and implement new IT solutions to increase performance and reliability and enhance security 
• Ensure the successful execution of company’s backup policy and schedule the execution of restore tasks periodically 
• Provide Database administration for company’s Applications (SQL Server) and cerate/update/execute queries for reporting purposes 
• Oversee the development and implementation of any system through all steps of the process and constantly evaluate company platforms and networks and search for ways to improve them 
• Co-operate effectively with all stakeholders and with the external company partners to ensure that business requirements are met and successfully addressed by the system’s customization 
• Establish and implement training processes and strategies for all company users 

Requirements

• A Degree in Computer Science, or in a relevant IT field 
• 4+ years of working experience with Microsoft technologies 
  Hyper-V Cluster, Windows Server, Windows 10,11, Active Directory, Office 365, System Center 
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in Systems/network infrastructure preferably with 1+ year of Team or Tech Leading experience 
• Experience in hybrid environment (on-prem and cloud) implementations 
• Experience in VoIP, DNS, DHCP, Routers (Mikrotik), Switches, Wifi AP, Firewalls, VPNs, Vlans 
• Experience in Enterprise Data Storage Solutions (SAN, NAS) preferably DELL’s 
• Experience in Database administration and especially to SQL Server 
• Experience in project management, solutions design and implementation 
• Ability and willingness to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies 
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, in Greek and English 
• Excellent problem-solving skills 

Will be highly appreciated:

• Any experience in ERP, CRM Application Systems preferably EpsilonNet 
• Fundamental knowledge of Cloud Services especially in Microsoft Azure and relative experience   
• Any experience in Linux CentOS and Asterisk PBX
