SUMMARY OF DUTIES

The Clerk Typist assigns Bridge Tenders / Clerks from extra boards, etc. Handles data entry of assigned passenger train equipment including related train consist and delay files. Copy and distribute Division Notices and Bulletin Orders.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Must be conversant with computer terminal equipment and PC for data entry/retrieval function
• Experience with typing
• Prepare necessary reports as designated by the Manager of Train Operations 
• Must have the following office skills: 
  • Faxing
  • Scanning 
  • Microsoft Word 
  • Excel 
  • Data entry retrieval function experience
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED

 

The hourly rate is $26.69- $35.58 (with opportunity for increases, as per the applicable collective bargaining agreement, after beginning employment).
