A Brief Overview
The Data Analyst utilizes their knowledge of finance, accounting, data science and business strategies to provide insights to TriNet's management team through various analysis functions. The position is responsible for preparing financial reports and analyses for the Data & Analytics organization and serves to assist with company needs. The position provides regular support to other Functions including Revenue, Marketing, Strategy and Finance.

What you will do 

  • Provide insights, analysis & recommendations on revenue pipeline, effectiveness of commercial programs, service operations, Cost to Serve, Cost to Acquire, Customer Profitability and Go-To-Market initiatives.  Analyze results and recommend actions.
  • Leverages business knowledge and expertise to drive business process improvement. Identify and address areas of risk that threaten the success of the company. Advise and implement solutions to mitigate risk. 
  • Supports consolidated commercial forecast process.  Implements dashboards (Tableau) and scenario analysis (Anaplan/Excel) to support operational & strategic decisions. Analyes monthly results and provides recommendations to financial & non-financial leaders.
  • Coordinate with Revenue Leaders, Financial Planning and Analysis, and Insurance Services to ensure revenue and costs are captured accurately
  • Responsible for compiling and supporting key reporting metrics (KPI) and other visual materials
  • Cross train staff to mitigate risks to key processes
  • Assist in automation of repetitive data aggregation/manipulation tasks to enable greater focus on value-add analysis
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Master’s in Quantitative Management or Business Administration preferred

Experience Qualifications

  • Typically new graduate of MQM/MBA program or 2+ years 

Skills and Abilities

  • Tableau development experience preferred
  • Anaplan model builder experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills 
  • Ability to lead others 

Licenses and Certifications

  • Tableau Certified Data Analyst preferred
  • Anaplan Model Builder certification preferred

The salary range for this role is $62,200.00 to $105,700.00. The candidate’s final salary offer will be based on the candidate’s skills, education, work location and experience.

 A candidate’s compensation may also include bonuses consistent with TriNet’s corporate bonus plan.
