Kontoor Brands’ Summer Intern Program is packed with projects, networking socials, cross-functional learning, and the chance to connect with industry trailblazers like our Executive Leadership Team. Previous interns have taken on projects as subject matter experts and social architects to engineer solutions through social media, Go-To-Market strategies, and denim designs. Participants can also take advantage of opportunities to explore interests in Social Issues, Sustainability, Career Fairs, Community Outreach and more. Our 10-week, full-time paid internship runs from June 3rd to August 8th. Start your journey with us and take your career to the next level!

Program Overview:

• 10-week term: June 3rd to August 8th
• Full-time paid internship
• Must be local or willing to relocate to Greensboro, NC

Find Your Fit at Kontoor if you are:                                    

• Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program at a College/University and able to receive a paid internship
• Eligible to work in the US without restrictions
• Have previously demonstrated leadership skills through school, extracurricular activities and/or community involvement
• Exceptional at taking on challenges and using your particular set of skills to create solutions
• A self-starter, ability to work with others in a team environment, with a passion for helping others
• Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)

Project Role: Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI)

We are seeking a summer intern to contribute to key diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. This role will assist with executing DEI programming and projects while developing professional skills.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Assist in planning DEI events such as Heritage Month activities, speaker series, and the Global Day of Inclusion.
• Conduct research and analysis on diversity, inclusion, belonging, and equity topics.
• Create presentations, reports, and communication materials to promote DEI efforts.
• Support employee resource groups with event planning and community-building activities.
• Participate in meetings and working sessions to drive progress on DEI goals.
• Complete special projects and administrative tasks in support of the DEI team.

Skills for Success:

• Current enrollment in undergraduate program. Fields related to business, communications, and social sciences preferred.
• Passion for and understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion principles.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite.
• Ability to manage details, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
