The Role
Interface with project management and engineering (along with program management, procurement, contracts, property management, warehouse, and external suppliers) to procure and properly track all program warranties, software licensing, and spare equipment for deployments/implementation. Tasks include all procurement activities for warranties, licensing, and spares, financial forecasting and open commitments analysis, confirming updated needs and requirements with the program’s engineering team, avoiding warranty expirations and reinstatement fees, assisting in the transfer of equipment to the lab and site locations as needed, and reporting status and necessary data to Program Management and the Program Director. This requires the use of Lumen’s corporate database and Procurement software to identify and link purchases to specific task orders. Additional overall tasking includes being able to complete other job duties as needed in support of the project management team.
The Main Responsibilities
- Procurement of Program required warranties, software, and spares
- Tracking purchases and support in accessing necessary supplier databases as needed for software utilization
- Financial forecasting of all requested purchase orders
- Analysis of the need for continued warranty agreements with engineering and procurement
- Supporting the project management team with purchases and tracking as assigned
- Prioritizing and multi-tasking of necessary assignments while working in a fast-paced environment
- The responsibilities of this position will continue to grow as additional portions of the network are accredited and achieve operational status, and as additional customer groups are added to the network.

Qualifications / Education
- US Citizenship required.
- Must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information (applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation).
- Clearance: Minimum Secret
- High School Diploma or 5+ years of job-related experience as a Project Coordinator or Project Manager
Skills
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, SharePoint, Project, and PowerPoint)
- Experience with using SAP procurement software (at least 2 years)
- Ability to follow operational documentation including guidelines, policies, processes, and standards.
- Must be able to work well with others to achieve common goals and to foster a cooperative climate
- Must have attention to detail.
- Must be able to communicate effectively.
- Ability to work effectively and positively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Databasing skills
- Flexible work schedule as needed
Compensation
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
Location Based Pay Ranges:
$91,266.00 - $121,688.00 in these states: VA.
