Freedom Caregivers is a leading home care agency in north central Ohio that has been serving our communities since 2013. With a commitment to providing exceptional care and support, we have grown to five locations, offering personalized home care services that improve the quality of life for our clients.

We are seeking a dynamic Director of Business Development to join our team and drive our growth strategy. This is a full-time position, on-site, and travel is required. The Director of Business Development may work out of any of our locations in Upper Sandusky, Marion, Mansfield, Mt. Vernon, or Wooster, Ohio. Our corporate office is in Upper Sandusky, Ohio.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy Development and Implementation:

• Design and execute comprehensive marketing strategies at both the enterprise and individual branch levels to drive growth and brand awareness.

Digital and Social Media Marketing Management:

• Oversee and/or manage our website, digital marketing efforts, and social media presence to ensure a consistent and engaging brand experience.

Referral Source Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with referral sources, senior care industry professionals, and the communities we serve.
• Actively network and liaise with these key stakeholders across our five locations.

Event Representation and Networking:

• Represent Freedom Caregivers at industry events, showcase our services, and network with potential partners and clients to enhance our brand presence and generate leads.

Strategic Partnership Development:

• Identify and develop strategic partnerships within the senior care industry and within our current markets to expand our service offerings and reach.

Market Research and Analysis:

• Conduct thorough market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends, local competition, opportunities, and threats. Utilize insights to inform strategic decisions.

Brand Cohesion and Awareness:

• Ensure a cohesive brand experience and high awareness across all media channels, maintaining consistency in messaging and visual identity.

Budget Management:

• Manage and allocate the marketing budget effectively, including the purchasing of company-branded items and print materials to support our marketing initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in business development, marketing, or a related field, preferably within the home care or healthcare industry.
• Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
• Proficient knowledge in digital marketing, social media management, and website development/maintenance.
• Ability to use and adapt to new technologies and proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Ability to manage budgets and allocate resources effectively.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.

Requirements

• College degree in a relevant field of study or proven experience in marketing, sales, or business development in lieu of degree
• Previous experience in healthcare, home health, home care, or senior living/community services preferred
• Valid Ohio driver's license and auto insurance
• Must live in or in close proximity to one of our locations in Upper Sandusky, Marion, Mansfield, Mt. Vernon, or Wooster, Ohio and have familiarity with the local hospitals, nursing homes, and senior care services in that community
• Must be willing to t
