Capital One’s Commercial Banking Product team defines the roadmap for the bank’s overall digital strategy, designing new, early stage products and services, and accelerating delivery through innovative methods and technologies. As the Manager of Go-to-Market (GTM) for Capital One’s Commercial Bank, you will lead a talented team of change management professionals responsible for driving the enablement and adoption of our digital products for both internal and external users. This strategic role is pivotal in ensuring product releases are successful by creating structure, providing consultation, and executing GTM strategies that serve our end-users.

You will be responsible for crafting the vision for the GTM function, developing your team, and managing relationships with senior partners across Product, Technology, and our business lines to create a holistic change management approach for Product releases. The ideal candidate is an experienced leader with a strong background in product marketing and change management, who is comfortable using data to build strategies, influence stakeholders, and make decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Go-to-Market professionals, fostering an inclusive culture and setting a high standard for autonomous delivery and performance. 

  • Define and execute the vision, strategy, and system for the Go-to-Market function, ensuring the team has the right tools and processes to deliver successfully. 

  • Oversee the development and execution of comprehensive GTM strategies for high-priority product releases, ensuring impacted users are prepared for and can adopt changes effectively. 

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for senior stakeholders, collaborating with partners (e.g., product managers, designers, engineers, business line leaders) to understand change impacts, identify dependencies, and align on tailored GTM strategies. 

  • Champion the GTM team's value and socialize its impact with Value Chain Partners and senior leadership. 

  • Own and evolve the GTM framework, including governance forums, processes, and playbooks, to ensure a standard of execution is reproducible for all product releases. 

  • Utilize Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for communications, training, and channel success to measure the effectiveness of GTM strategies and drive continuous improvement. 

  • Manage stakeholder communications to increase transparency and mitigate risks proactively.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Military Experience. 

  • At least 4 years of experience in Product Operations, Product Marketing, or Change Management.

  • At least 2 years of experience in a people leadership capacity (direct management, mentorship, peer coaching).

  • At least 4 years of experience with Microsoft Office or Google Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience managing change using Agile or Waterfall methodology. 

  • 3+ years of experience in people leadership. 

  • Prosci or other change management certification or designation. 

  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and stakeholders across multiple business functions. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience crafting data-driven narratives to influence stakeholders. 

  • Experience with managing marketing channels (e.g., in-app, web, video, email). 

  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau. 

  • Understanding of commercial banking or other financial services.

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
