Job Purpose and Impact

The Field Representative – Retail, will participate in face to face and remote selling to the company's new and existing customers and sell directly or indirectly through various sales channels. In this role, you will, with guidance, help assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services and solutions.

Key Accountabilities

• Contribute to developing and delivering sales bids, presentations and proposals and participating in product demonstrations.
• Help identify and contact prospective customers, building relationships to generate future sales and repeat business.
• With basic knowledge of products, their characteristics and market, sell and stimulate demand for a series of products.
• Plan daily activities, including customer visits and quantitative and qualitative objectives to achieve.
• Follow market and competition evolution, passing information to senior staff.
• Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Ability to travel a minimum of 75% of the time.
• Experience in agriculture

Preferred Qualifications

• Equine experience 
• Excellent communication skills (written, oral and listening)
• Proficiency in MS Office tools (Outlook, Excel, PPT, Word)
• Experience using Salesforce.com.
• Selling experience in the retail channel

Position Information

• Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position.
• Traveling is required for this role. 
• This position covers the territory of Florida, US. (Person needs to be based on either of the territories or willing to relocate without sponsor).
