Job Description
U.S. Bank is seeking a full-time Sr. Software Engineer – Cloud Environment (Multiple openings) in Washington, District of Columbia.
The Sr. Software Engineer – Cloud Environment is responsible for designing, developing, testing, operating and maintaining software products, specifically focused on cloud environment products. Specific duties include: (1) cloud environment development, migration and maintenance using Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services; (2) design cloud application architecture for application teams; (3) develop and manage cloud billing details for application teams; (4) develop Infrastructure-as-a-code pipelines to deploy cloud infrastructure using terraform and yaml; (5) develop CI/CD pipelines for application team using Gitlab and Ansible; (6) migrate all the applications in Bank to cloud platform and educate application teams with it; (7) design, develop and maintain software to support application migration using Java, .net.; (8) write automation scripts to speed up the migration process; (9) develop quality code and tests for the code; (10) develop Java based full stack applications with oracle health products; (11) utilize backend technologies including Firebase, ExpressJS, and Stripe Payment; and (12) develop web applications using React and ExpressJS and developing native mobile application using React Native.
Basic Qualifications:
This position requires a Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and 18 months of experience designing cloud application architecture.
Required Skills/Experience:
Must also have 18 months of experience with each of the following: (1) developing Java based full stack applications with oracle health products; (2) utilizing backend technologies including Firebase, ExpressJS, and Stripe Payment; (3) developing web applications using React and ExpressJS and developing native mobile application using React Native; (4) cloud environment development, migration and maintenance using Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services; and (5) developing CI/CD pipelines for application team using Gitlab and Ansible. Will accept experience gained before, during or after Master’s program. Employer will accept experience gained concurrently.
Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $122,699 - $144,200. (#LI-NDI #LI-DNI #LI-DNP #DE-DNP).
