Summary
The Safety Supervisor is responsible for promoting Baker’s IIF culture by displaying and promoting servant leadership, reinforcing positive behavior, and acting as a resource to support a safe, quality, and productive project.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Promote Bakers IIF culture
- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of site-specific HSE programs and processes
- Provide technical support for all HSE related issues
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of Client, Company, Local, State, and Federal health, safety, and environmental rules and regulations.
- Continuously monitor work site to identify potential hazardous acts and conditions, and ensure compliance with all applicable HSE rules and regulations
- Lead the site management team in the continual growth and improvement of a safe and healthful work environment
- Oversees and guides the work of direct reports
- Assist in the coordination of incident investigations, documentation, reporting, and follow-up
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of construction safety experience, with strong experience in deep foundations
- Must have good interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide training, certificate or degree commensurate with the position
- Proficient in Adobe, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Possess a valid state issued driver’s license and is eligible to operate company vehicles
