Description

abra is seeking an experienced SAP DBA to join our team, specializing in database maintenance and performance tuning for SAP HANA systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing the health and performance of SAP HANA databases, as well as optimizing them for high performance and reliability.

• Database Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks for SAP HANA databases, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity.
• Performance Tuning: Monitor, diagnose, and optimize database performance for SAP HANA systems, including memory, storage, and query performance.
• Backup and Recovery: Ensure proper backup and recovery strategies are in place to maintain data security and integrity.
• Collaboration: Work as part of a team, collaborating with SAP administrators, developers, and other IT staff to resolve database issues and improve system performance.
• Database Monitoring: Regularly monitor database health, identify issues, and implement solutions to prevent downtime or data loss.

Requirements

• Experience: At least 2-3 years of hands-on experience with SAP HANA database maintenance and performance tuning.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP HANA administration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Database Maintenance: Solid understanding of backup, recovery, and database optimization techniques for SAP HANA.
• Security Clearance: Must undergo a security clearance process. Candidates with a security clearance of Level 4 or higher will have an expedited recruitment process.
