Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our growing Accounting team. In this role, you will support daily accounting operations and month-end close activities by accurately recording, balancing, and reconciling financial transactions. You will work closely with the Accounting Team Lead and Accounting Manager and play an important role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial records.
This position offers hands-on exposure to a broad range of accounting functions, including reconciliations, journal entries, audit preparation, intercompany accounting, treasury support, and merchant funding activities. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and eager to learn, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Recent graduates with a strong foundation in accounting principles are encouraged to apply.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Play an integral part in the daily and month end close by evaluating and preparing required journal entries
- Perform monthly reconciliations of balance sheet and income statement accounts
- Assist in preparation of schedules for year-end audit
- Ad Hoc Projects as needed
- Assist in ensuring merchants are funded accurately and timely
- Perform various treasury duties including ensuring sufficient cash in correct bank accounts and making bank funding decisions accordingly
- Assist in Intercompany Reconciliations of Blue Snap’s International subsidiaries
- Perform other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as required from time to time by the Accounting Team Lead and Accounting Manager
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Ability to handle high volume financial data sets
- Experience with complex Excel spreadsheets, MS Word and Office
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously
- Familiarity with NetSuite Accounting software
